Addressing the financial aspects of this crisis has become a top priority for many developing nations, and a crucial point of discussion in the UN climate negotiations. Despite gaining attention in recent years, the issue of financing for loss and damage remains complex and highly debated.

However, finding a way forward is essential. It's not just about meeting the immediate needs of affected communities; it's also about rebuilding trust between developed and developing nations in these critical climate talks. Moreover, enhancing the international response to loss and damage could bring security benefits for all countries, regardless of their development status.

The Open Conference theme was carefully chosen to guide participants through the current status of the Paris Agreement and emphasize the critical importance of accelerating climate action. This theme served as the focal point of their learning journey.

During the 2 hours and 30 minutes of the conference, newly admitted students, guests, and speakers engaged in diverse discussions. These discussions centered on the integral role of young people in driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
